College & Career Readiness

College and Career Readiness

College of the Albemarle’s (COA) College and Career Readiness program is a stepping stone for adult learners to achieve their dreams and build skills in preparation for the future. Our goal is to ensure that all adult learners have the knowledge and academic preparation needed to enroll and succeed in college or to prepare for a successful, rewarding career.

The College and Career Readiness program offers Adult High School, High School Equivalency, Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language, and Adult Basic Education Transitional Opportunities. Our program can help you improve your reading, writing, and math skills, refine your English language proficiency, develop interview and employment skills, attend college classes and receive credit, and earn a high school diploma or High School Equivalency.
